Common Contact Questions

If you don't see your question here, just call our main line β€” we're happy to talk through anything.

What's the best time to call?
We're open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. Mornings (9-11 AM) and early afternoons (1-3 PM) are typically less busy. If you reach our voicemail after hours, leave a message and we'll return your call the next business day.
Should I call my local clinic or the main number?
If you're a new patient, our main number (423-202-3008) connects you with admissions for any of our locations. If you're an existing patient with questions about appointments or prescriptions at a specific clinic, call that location directly for fastest service.
How quickly will I get a response if I fill out the form?
Most form submissions get a response within one business day β€” often within hours during business hours. We'll reach out by your preferred method (email, text, or phone). If your situation is urgent, please call us directly.
Will my call or message be confidential?
Yes. Federal law (HIPAA + 42 CFR Part 2, which gives addiction treatment EXTRA privacy protection) requires us to keep your information confidential. We can't share that you contacted us with anyone β€” including family members, employers, or your insurance company β€” without your written consent.
Can I call for someone else (parent, spouse, sibling)?
Yes. Many of our first calls come from family members. We'll talk you through options, share resources, and help you figure out the next step β€” even if your loved one isn't ready yet. We also host a free Thursday family support group on Zoom.
Do I need an appointment to visit?
For new patient intake, we recommend calling first so we can verify your insurance and schedule an appointment β€” usually same-day or next-day. Walk-ins are welcome during business hours, but calling ahead saves you time.
What if I'm in crisis right now?
If you're in immediate danger, please call 911 or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. For non-emergency addiction support, call us anytime during business hours β€” we'll connect with you quickly. Same-day appointments are usually available.
What does it cost to call or fill out the form?
Nothing. Reaching out to us is always free, with no obligation. Insurance verification is also free. We'll only discuss treatment costs if and when you decide to move forward β€” and most patients are surprised by how affordable it is, with or without insurance.
How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
Call the location where your appointment is scheduled (numbers listed above). We appreciate as much notice as possible β€” typically 24 hours β€” so we can offer the slot to another patient.

The Hardest Step Is the First One.

You don't need to have it all figured out before you reach out. Just call us or send a message. We'll take it from there.
